TRANSFER VISA GIFT CARD TO PAYPAL
Have a visa gift card and want to be able to use it through PayPal or you have a visa gift you don’t want to use again? You can easily link it to your PayPal account and below are the steps to do that.
It’s easy to add a gift card, debit, or credit card to your PayPal account. To do it on a computer:
- Click on “Wallet” at the top of the page
- Click on “Link a card” on the left side of the page
- Under “Link a card manually”, click “Debit or credit card”
- Enter the card’s number, expiration date, security code, and address
- Tap “Link card”
You can also add a gift card using the PayPal App on your smartphone. It’s a similar process:
- Tap on “Wallet”
- Tap “+” beside Banks and Cards
- Tap on “Debit and Credit Cards”
- Link your card manually
- Enter the card’s number, expiration date, security code, and address
- Tap “Link card”
Now that your gift card is linked to your PayPal account, you can use the gift card balance to pay for things and services with PayPal.
How to Transfer VISA gift Card Money to Your PayPal Balance?
Below are steps you can use to transfer your visa gift card to your PayPal account.
This steps are easy to follow and if you do follow it diligently you can easily get it. Although, this process does not happen overnight as it takes some time and you will be charge an additional 10 percent from the visa gift card. The fees and rates for gift card exchange do vary from company to company.
- Go to CardCash
- Enter the merchant’s name
- Enter the balance on your gift card
- Click “GET OFFER”
- If an offer is available, you’ll see the amount of PayPal balance you can exchange with this gift card
- You can add another card by entering the information below and clicking “ADD CARD”
- If you agree to the deal, click Continue
- Enter your gift card number and PIN
- Click “Connect with PayPal”
- Log in to your PayPal account
- Fill in the required fields
- Click “Get my PayPal balance”
Although this is an easy and fast process that generally takes one business day, it can be expensive; costing you a minimum of 10% of the gift card’s value!
